ÉCOLE MATERNELLE PAJOL
ÉCOLE MATERNELLE PAJOL
multicolored schoolyard
children’s playground
100% playful
well being project
This project is a heavy rehabilitation including internal and external space layouts, and the creation of specific furniture.
The schoolyard façade is seen as an optimistic urban signal and representative of the identity of the school. It unfolds on the three levels, creating a playful environment for children. The façade is hollowed on the ground floor to shape the yard’s cover as a sunny space.
The inside space help to create several emotions: different wall colors, varying furniture geometry, heterogeneous materials feeling nice to the touch (wood, rubber, metal…) to offer a stimulating and positive environment for the children and the staff.
This Pajol street school falls within a neighborhood in complete renewal, in Paris’ 18th district.
